Whip up a refreshing Orange Drinkable Yogurt using your Thermomix by blending fresh oranges (or juice), natural/Greek yogurt, and a touch of honey or milk. You can go for a Quick Blended Smoothie for immediate serving or use the Fermentation Mode to make a batch of tangy, drinkable yogurt.
Method 1: The 5-Minute Fresh Orange Smoothie (No Fermentation)
This is a quick and creamy drink perfect for a fast breakfast or afternoon snack.
Ingredients:
  • 250 g natural or Greek yogurt
  • Juice of 1-2 fresh oranges (approx. 1 cup)
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 50 ml milk (optional, for a thinner, drinkable consistency)

    Instructions:
    1. Add all ingredients into the Thermomix mixing bowl.
    2. Blend for 30 sec / Speed 8.
    3. Pour into glasses and serve immediately, or let it chill in the fridge for 20 minutes.

Method 2: Fermenation mod Orange Honey Drinkable Yogurt
If you want to ferment your own yogurt using the Thermomix Fermentation mode, this official recipe yields a tangy, orange-infused batch.

      Ingredients:
      • 1 L (approx. 34 oz) whole milk
      • Peel of 1 organic orange (thin peel only, no white pith)
      • 150 g (5 oz) plain yogurt with live active cultures
      • 30 g (1 oz) honey
      • Juice of {1}{2}  a lemon

        Instructions:
        1. Infuse Milk: Place the milk and orange peel in the mixing bowl. Cook for 10 min / 185°F / Speed 1.
        2. Cool: Remove the bowl and let the mixture cool naturally until it reaches 104°F – 113°F (this takes about an hour).
        3. Mix & Ferment: Remove the orange peel. Add the plain yogurt and honey. Mix for 10 sec / Speed 4. Transfer the mixture into a glass/ceramic bowl, cover with cling wrap, and place it into the Varoma dish.
        4. Clean the bowl: Rinse your Thermomix mixing bowl and add 1 L of water and the lemon juice.
        5. Ferment: Put the Varoma dish into position. Start the Fermentation mode by setting it to 8 hours / 160°F.
        6. Chill: Once fermentation is complete, remove the Varoma and refrigerate the yogurt for at least 2 hours before serving. Stir well to achieve a drinkable consistency.
